Social programme througout the conference  

 

Social activities will be offered in order to encourage discussions throughout the conference.

 

On Tuesday evening, an opening reception will be held in the foyer of the Karlsruhe Convention Centre.

 
Thursday evening, before the conference dinner, you will have the opportunity to visit the renowned Museum “ZKM” the Centre for Art and Media Karlsruhe. Docents will be available to provide you with information on the current exhibitions. The conference dinner on Thursday evening will be held in the foyer of the “ZKM”.
 
 
Throughout the whole conference, you are free to visit the "Stadtgarten", the largest park area in Karlsruhe, to offer a pleasant and stimulating environment for natural and wild scientific discussions. The Stadtgarten is the main park of Karlsruhe combined with the zoological garden and is located directly opposite the congress center.
 

 

 

Programme for accompanying persons

 

Trips or excursions for accompanying persons will be offered during the conference assuming a minimum participant number of ten persons. If you are interested, please contact the responsible person (see page Contact and Information) via Email containing the date and the prefered destination for the excursion.

Possible excursions are

 

  • City Tour Karlsruhe (Castle, Staatliche Kunsthalle (Art Gallery), Botanical Garden)
  • Castle Trifels (Imperial Regalia, Richard the Lionheart)
  • Monastery Maulbronn (Unesco World Heritage Site)
  • Romanic Cathedral Speyer (Unesco World Heritage Site)
